 In 1993, with 11 years experience in the furniture industry, Allan, in partnership with his wife, Carole, established a run specialising in the cartage of new furniture, bathroom ware and fragile freight. They began with a tractor and semi trailer and offered a once weekly return service between Auckland and Christchurch. News of the business spread by word of mouth and the workload increased. More trucks were purchased and extra runs established. A Limited Company was formed in April 1995 with Allan and Carole as the sole directors.  Today, the business is run and managed by Allan and Carole from their Head Office in Hamilton with the branch in Christchurch servicing the entire South Island. Their fleet currently numbers 3 vans and 20 trucks of various sizes with six of these running a five times weekly service between Auckland and the South Island. Arnotts Inter Island Carriers Ltd are proud to have been of service to their many existing clients. We look forward to continuing that service to them and to all prospective clients in the future. |
